I am very very pleased with my planted tank now! First time in planting and thanks to KittyKat I got through it pretty good! Been on since 5:30pm and just finished! (Feet are killing). So, ill give you a link to the picture album as there are to many to upload. Just click on the links within the link I send you and it should bring up the pictures one by one. Ill post an album to the tank before then after. Note on the last pictures of it planted there are some floating plant. These were plants that I couldn't make room for so I will be selling. Ill post them on the Classified board here with details. Give me opinions! Just done ask me to change anything as I really couldn't without pulling lots of things out!

Here is the album for the tank before:

if you want opinions, you may get people advising you to move things...just like i am

are they pygmy chain swords in the front? if so, you may want to move them into the mid ground as they get bigger than people think, they'll get to about 15-20cms. Get somthing a bit smaller at the front. Other than that, it looks good :good:

Congratulations! Must definitively have been a tough job, planting a big tank like that! If I do anything in my tank, I have to use one of these little kitchen 'steps' to be able to get to the bottom of the tank... Very tiring!

Hahaha! Yes it is actually tiring. But how does it look!

Ok here is the tank final! Planted a few more thing and im quiet happy with it considering it my first attempt.

Sorry, I wasn't able to reply yesterday because we had some trouble with the forum; didn't allow us to reply on threads...

I think it looks very good, but I would change 1 thing: I would replace the leggy plants you have in the foreground on the right hand side of your vulcanic rock (at least that is what I think it is) for a more carpeting plant. A lower plant which will grow denser.

Well in the pic you can really see until the grassy plants thicken out but there is about 5inch of just that, it needs to grow out then i think it will be pretty cool.

Yes I have 5 bronze corys, 5 harlequins and 5 black neons. My stocking list is this when its complete...

10 Harlequins
10 lemon tetras
10 Bronze corys
6 keyhole cichlids(2 when they have paired)
Trio of Cockatoos or 8 Colombian red tails or 8 rainbow fish

thats a better pic. Looks good!

Is TOTM still open? If someone hasn't said it already....get it entered!

Sounds good! What kind of rainbows were you thinking of? I love the threadfin ones...
