its picta time, its picta time

no one here is unfriendly. you just have an overstocked tank.and people dont like that.. and that algae bloom shouldnt be happening. maybe make a new topic and find out what to do about it. i think the fact that you have an algae problem and are still adding fish is saying something to most of teh people here

i dont believe i have ever seen a stocked 55 sitting on the floor...thats...interesting
i guess you have a python then...i wish there was an attachment that fit my sink

do the guppies not eat the baby shrimp?

# 1 - i didnt add new fish to the tank, pay attention

# 2 - algae in water isnt an easy thing to get rid of

# 3 - neither tank is overstocked.

i suggest you give up posting here

and no the guppies dont eat the baby shrimp.. its the exact opposite actually.. the shrimp eat the baby guppies... i only have 2 male guppies left in there.. all the babies get eaten pretty quick.. and i cant find good quality females around here, so ive given up breeding guppies... i just let the shrimp do their thing, and sell them..

yea im working on getting tanks off the floor actually.. i think one day i will hit up rona and spend some bling bling on bricks and wood... building a nice looking stand doesnt sound like much fun.. function over looks is the way i roll.. i was talking about getting the tanks off the floor earlier today actually..

and yea i have a python.. what kind of sink do you have.. you should be able to get it to fit any kind of sink... with bathroom sinks, you have to unscrew the little filter thingy at the end of the part where the water comes out.. there are attatchments you can buy with the pythons also to get them to fit

"these" reffering to the tanks in the pictures.

well there are like 6 diff tanks in the pictures...

the 48g with the sharks has been set up for about a year.. the 55g with all the algae has been set up for about 7 or 8 months..

the 20g with the parrot killing the jellybean was set up for about 6 months, its since been taken down..

the 10g with the brown knife has been set up for about 5 months.. the guppy tank has been about 8 months..

i think thats it

All of your fish are Beautiful! i love the Guppy tank, the gravel looks really nice with all those plants. And the dempsy/convict or dempsy/rainbow is Gorgous! Also, i am a big fan of Plecos, especially big ones, think you could get a full shot? i see it in the full tank pic, but not too well. Overall Beautiful Tanks and Fish! Well Done!

my sink doesnt have a screw-type end (have no idea what that's called) and the end that is on it will not come off :(

Whoops! haha.

YOU suggest I stop posting here? im sorry but i dont have Id sharks. You say you'll rehome them. do you already have a buyer ready because not many people have tanks big enough for ID sharks.

and your tanks are overstocked. with waste anyways. an african brown knife in a 10 gallon. 2 parrots ( i know theyre gone now) in a 20 gallon. did you ever think that maybe teh tank size had anything to do with one killing tth other? because they are territorial. and the fact that you had time to photograph the jellybeans wounds and say its getting worse makes me think it DID NOT die overnight and there was something you could do about it. ever heard of dividers?

By the pictures, looks like you also have a jewel cichlid. Thats an african cichlid too. :)

They are nice fish, but i think you should only get fish if you have a tank ready for them when they get bigger.
