Well it's been a long time since I post. It's been a year since I bought any new fish.

To some that know me I have lost some of my cichlids and sold some. Today I sold my true parrot to make room for a baby birchir who is growing out. It's the coolest fish ever.

Anyways I bought some silver dollar today they are the size of silver dollars. Anyways my severum and uaru are the biggest fish in the tank now. They are not crazy hunting type fish. Yet I can't help but think my silver dollars are going to be a pricey dinner. The SD can't fit in the severums mouth but he I'd big and could do some damage.

What do you guys think will my silver dollars make it? I added lots of finding places.

silver dollars are known to grow pretty quickly, and due to their round size they tend to be safe with larger fish. I think they should be alright. I've never thought of severums as remotely predatory, but I don't know jack about uarus.

I think you will be fine :)

Your tank will be very round though :)

As above, should be fine, SD's make good tankmates for most cichlids, although I rehomed mine as they constantly used to beat my cichlids to food.

I am not worried about feeding time mine cichlids are aggressive feeders.

Yeah most of the fish are nice a round. Haha. I like them round. This is the plant eating tank and where I dump my clipping for proper disposal. The SD lived throw the night. My severum goes over and gives them a nip to make sure they know he is king. but I don't think they see them as food. So fingers crossed it all works. Thanks.

Well when I turn the light on one of the silver Dollars looks like he gt his head bitten. He has a bloody eye and some gill damage. Poor thing.
