It Gets Worse.....

I stumbled across it looking for any/all fish tanks within 25 miles of my home, I can't filter out inappropriate items like this when they call it a fish tank!!
The item includes the whole cistern assembly, which you fit to your existing toilet pan. Notice how they have multiple gold fish in the tank!!
I am tempted to contact the seller......

Its not as cruel as some, If you do contact them tell them it should be a shrimp and snail habitat not goldfish. It also has the benefit of saving water on its side, if that cistern is standard sized the flushing water compartment is quite small and its simlar to putting a brick in the cistern everyone should do it really water is not an infinite resource believe it or not.

I have to laugh as they say "Suitable for freshwater and saltwater" A 2.2 gallon Nano toilet reef tank......yeh right.

That just shows how much profit that UK seller is trying to make, when you can buy it from the manufacturer for $199 (around £100) and the guy on ebay is selling at twice the price  And your bound to need other bits to make it fit some systems.

For £225, there's a lot more you can get for your money :good:

Yeah exchange rate is closer to 1.5 now a days the GBP is in the excrement compared to other nations. You also have to add shipping costs transnational to the Uk distributor and storage, so all in all I don't think they will be making much money.

All I have to say is POOR FISH. Imagine being in a glass container with people's backsides and willies facing you all day long, and everyone just 'doing there thing' right in front of you, not to mention the constant flushing. I'm not kidding. I think this may actually be worse than hell.

Grooooooooooossssss!

Fairly tacky, but more suitable for fish than most of the 'novelty' aquariums I've seen... if you set that up properly (with a few white clouds, decent plastic plants and sand, minus the technicolour gravel and multiple goldfish) it would be a very, very interesting feature. I have to say though, I would be worried about the flushing and whether the noise would upset the fish... if it did then that would be a welfare issue. Not suitable to heat, so not suitable for a betta... white clouds would be the only coldwater fish that would fit there IMO.
