I have six clowns and i dont know what sex they are yet i always presume they are male! I have two Bala sharks and i always presume i have one male and one female yet i dont know, I presume my RTB shark is male and i think my pleco is a male. Isn't it weird the way we presume the sex, What do you guys think?

I just think we determan the sex by their behaviour unless there is another simpler way.
I'll just explain my 10gal tank because I know what their sexes are with the others... I just guess... with most of them.
I have one male and one female Dwarf Gourami, you can easily see by the colouring. The last peppered cory is a male. Easy ^__^
Oh, one other thing I gave up on sexing my Pencilfish, danio, tiger barbs and tetras ect.

We just usually always make one female and one male for name sakes unless we know what they really are. I dont know personally because i dont name my fish.

I do that a lot  I presume my eel is a male, although I really have no clue :*)
I do it to my fronts even though they're no where near old enough to be sexed.
my L200's even though it's almost impossible to sex them
And of course the loaches.I used to think the head loaches/botias were male but after watching them for a while,I believe the biggest & bossiest of them are the females :shifty:
