hi there, just wondering whether i should go for the traditional fish tank, or is this would be as good, or even better as it has more room for the betta to move around:http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441811155&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302030056&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023693&bmUID=1144236162394&itemNo=42&In=Fish&N=2030056&Ne=2 , or this one:http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441779404&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302030056&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023693&bmUID=1144236161838&itemNo=12&In=Fish&N=2030056&Ne=2 and also what sort of tankmates should i be looking for in this kind of tank... if this tank is not a good idea, i will go for the normal type of tank, but could you still say what tankmates would be good... i am considering some corrys possibly? thanks in advance

To make it easier....

personal opinion.. i question the value of the bi-orb or bi-ube ones.. I have seen fish dead in the bubble outlet in a fish shop too.. :(

bio tanks are over priced junk, not worth the money

the eclipse tank sounds good though
you wouldn't have much choice, if any, for that tank though, as it's a 5 gallon HIGH tank, which reduces the amount of swimming space dramatically.

Hmm... the Hex is a little better, but I'd say neither, personally. Both are narrow, tall tanks - the opposite of what bettas enjoy for swimming space. They tend to do better in wide/long tanks. If might save you plenty of money to just buy an AGA 5g & hood, then add what you wish as far as filtration, aeration, etc. goes.

A 10 would be awesome, because then you could get some little algae eaters or something to go with him. Right one ^^
