Is This Pepper Cory Ready To Get Frisky?

Im still raising mine on decappped brine shrimp eggs. I put a pinch in once daily and i change 25% of the water on a weekend for the first 2 months then i start to increase the frequency as they grow. My fry tank doesnt have a lid, so i get half inch evaporate over the course of a week too :>

I have 3/4 table spoons worth of sand in the tank which covers the bottom in a very thin layer. The left over brine shrimp eggs gather up in a fuzzy group which i suck out with a pipette before i feed again.

I've lost all my sterbai fry but the new bronze fry are quite healthy and growing well.

righto...all those pepper cory fry died (after 10 days)...that was ages ago

pandas have now laid a few eggs, couple hatched after 3 days, others after 5 days.

this time round, i've put less sand in the nursery tank, kept water level much lower, used water only from the parents tank, kept temperature at 23 (even got aircon to come on automatically when i am not at home, since it's summer)

i've tried feeding them some liquid fry stuff, and also rotifers. the fry dont seem to go for either food...just wanna hide. cant see any egg-sacks remaining.

so my question is...do fry actively look for food in their tank, or do i need to push it right in front of their faces ?

here's some pix of the panda fry at approx 2days old...

These guys look nothing alike...has mother panda been fooling around?
