Fish Addict
The pet shop I buy my supplies from is fairly good on the upkeepings of all of their animals, bettas included. The lady keeps the bettas in decently sized jars, roughly 8x6 inches or so. She changes their water out every other day. And she usually dosn't have more than 10 at a time so each is well taken care of. It's where I buy all of my foodstuffs for my geckos, ( and now my betta ).
However, such is not the case in most places I go. At my local Wal-Mart I can't even stand to go back to the fish aisle... It's so pathetic, all of their fish are sickly looking, especially the betta's. They're kept in little tupperware things just barely big enough for them to move. They're all stuffed in a dark corner stacked one on top of another quite a few high. I don't see why people think that they need to do that, it's so stupid.
