is saltwater light bulbs bad?

i found a cheap salwater light that i need, since i barely have any light and i have lots of plants.

the bulb is a half 10,000 K ultra-daylight and half ultra-actinic

would this be ok for plants?

and it would be 96watts for a 46g bow

For freshwater tanks, you probably want to stay in the 5000-6500K range. This is the most beneficial range that plants absorb light. Don't think a 10000K lamp will help any.

10000K is really too high for freshwater planted tanks, to much of the lamps out is above the range used by chlorophyll.
