Is this fin rot?

Hi not sure if this is damage from nipping or something like fin rot? If the later what are the recommended actions?

It's kind of hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like a nip. Fin rot would make the fins look more tattered.
What fish do you have? If you have an aggressive fish species, it might be better to rehome them.
How big is your aquarium? In the picture it looks like a bowl or a bio orb. Those are really not good homes for any fish, and I recommend that you buy a rectangular aquarium.

Hi yep death orb, new to the hobby and fell for the form over function. Got an ada60 in cycle (profile pic) which will be the new home. At moment in this orb I have 4 platy with about 5 fry.

That's great! The tank in your profile pic looks amazing. I bet your fish will be really happy once they can go in their new home!
