Wished I could of been more help but never seen anything like it before. That's why I also moved the thread to livebearers to see members who keep swordtails could tell you if it was reproductive organ.

just zoomed in on the pic and im 99% sure its his gono. ive seen pics on guppies thast are similar but they are long and flowing
also does he flex it swing it around to the front of his body or chase the ladies with it in a forward possition
i would run away from him if he pointed that thing at me

He looks like he does flex it sometimes, but never in a forward position, I don't have any females for him to chase so it looks like its going to be a waste for him unfortunately
