you are a terrible liar(!) i wont tell though.

anyhow if you are thinking of becoming a betta owner have a browse through some of these threads here. great info and fabulous people who will take you through the ins outs ups and downs of betta keeping :)

good luck and have fun!

IMO its fine, are you going real or fake plants? if fake get silk as plastic tears there fins

ive already got real ones dont ask me what ones there mixe XD

In all honesty? NO. While it's good you have both a heater and filter, the space is really very small. Only 2 gallons. You can get great deals on second hand tanks. A 5 gallon will be so much easier to keep stable in terms of water chemistry and a tank that size easily fits on a desk. The 2 gallon will do as a temporary home, but as a permanent one I really wouldn't reccomend it at all.

Yeah I agree it is a bit on the small side. This is approx the size of my Q tank, and when I have kept bettas in there to quarantine them, it has always seemed real small. I'd try to go for double that to be honest.

I keep mine in a 11lite wilko thing with a small filter and heater and hes allways making bubble nests and such so seems happy enough though its only temporary till I can get a nice 5gal.

i have sucessfully kept a male in a 2.5 and a 3 gal before but now 5.5 is my minimum, have a female in a 5.5 currently and 2 6gals sitting empty :(

i do but been told no more bettas :(
but got a few badis and killis coming for my 2 communities soon :)

then maybe more bettas :shifty:

I kept Fred in a 14 litre tank and he was just fine.. seemed really happy. So I don't see why a 10 litre isn't good enough, as long as you don't overfill with plants so he has some swimming space, and don;t go any smaller for the tank :)
