My neighbor's sergent has a 96 gallon freshwater tank with a stand and fish. He is asking $180US. I thought that was a killer deal. Am I right?? I just have to see if I can find anywhere to put something that big...

edit: 90 not 96..still huge!!!!

no not really, that much would cost me about GBP £90;. which is alot cheaper. try and get it for about $120 8)

Where would you get that???

I want to know!!! Hoods alone are £120 for that size!

It does have a hood...right?

Sounds good to me GG! :)

That's an awesome deal!! Take it, even if you have to put it into storage for right now.

Tiff

Assuming the tank doesn't leak :), ...

If that includes a top and lights, I'd snap it up. Even if it doesn't I probably would anyway, unless the stand is a real dog.

For info, a retail (i.e. Petco-ish) 90g tank, with stand and hood, costs around $400.

at our local petsmart, my 37 us gallon tank costs $209, with eclipse 3 system hood [which houses the power head, carbon filter, bio wheel, and 2 light fixture]. stand is an extra $80. i bought mine from my ex-wife's bf for $100, and he gave me the gravel, two plastic plants, some water conditioner, a bottle of bacteria starter, a glass cleaner, a heater, an air stone with air pump, a net, and a thermometer.
