Is There Any Age Limit For Buying Fish?(uk)

You need to be 16 to buy livestock in the uk I think? Certainly do at P@H (theres a tick box for over 16 on the sheet they give you when you buy fish), although I doubt smaller shops would ever bother tbf.

Lol, since i go to P@H so often for my fish, the guy knows me know. Seeing as he sees me id'ing fish without looking at the labels, i think he thinks i know enough. So when i bought fish he just ticked the box xD

We won't sell to anyone under the age of 16 where I work, unless they are accompanied by an adult.

i think this is true my younger brother whos 12 wanted a goldfish and the ladie and the LFS refused to sell it him lol

i work at P@H and you have to be 16 to buy any livestock weather its a rabbit, fish or w.e

I hope they don't put an age limit on the US soon. What would my chances be at 61?. Too old maybe? I have been buying my own fish since I was tall enough to point at the one I wanted, maybe 10 years old. What kind of s**** is it to stop someone based on age? If I were setting rules, I might make people prove they had a clue how to look after a fish first, but age has nothing to do with that. There are 30 year olds that should not be allowed to buy fish and 10 year olds who would be fine.
