Is there a loach that can go in a 10 gal

gale, it was the Petsmart in Lafayette. With the exception that petsmart's fish seem to all come home with gill flukes (praziquantel clears up the scrathing every time, so I am like 99.99% sure that is what it is) I feel that petsmart here actually is better than the LFS. No dyed fish, I've never seen a tank with ick or frayed fins (unlike the local LFS), and the knowledge of the employees is no better or worse than the LFS. Plus Petsmart has lemon tetras, a personal fave ;).

I would try khulis but they have a problem. they dont want to live. Trust me i work at a pet store and when we get them in they died within a few hours. we try everything to try to keep them alive. Red tail loaches are good too.
I have 2 Kuhli Loaches that have been alive and well for almost a month and were at the LFS for over a month before that.

The other local LFS and both Petsmarts here stock them and have no problems with them dieing.

Kuhlis are actually easy to care for but I would not put them in a 10 Gallon. They are a shoaling fish and should be kept in groups. They grow to 4" or so.

question about these dwarf loaches...

they are very nice, does anyone know if they are compatible with clown loaches? and tiger barbs?

i like them and was wondering this... any help? :good:
