Is Something Wrong With My Cray

my lil blue cray seems to always be hiding between the drift wood i have in my tank he made a lil home under it and saw him moving the gravel two rocks at a time with his claws but other than that he just sits there not doing much he is missing 2 legs but i was told during his molt the will come back but he seemed to be active in my LFS

Water stats?

When did you get him? If he is new he may just be getting comfortable with his new environment.

He also may be molting.

I'm assuming he is P. allenii as that is the only species I know of with a blue color morph. Do you know what their natural behavior is? He may be intrinsically reclusive.

As long as the water stats are ok, and there is nothing to bother him in the tank, it sounds quite normal to me, crayfish will usually dig a burrow under a rock or wood to hide under.
