I got her at the pet store 2 weeks ago and she looks like she has gotten bigger, but the dark spot on her had been there since I got her.

with Them pics i can sey yes she defo is mate as mine is like her but bit bigger mine.

Thank you! I could never get an answer. Can you tell how far along she is? I know she is at least 2 weeks (obviously), but she doesn't look huge yet.

I'd Say Bout One Week Mate If Not Bit Longer As She Will Go Bit Bigger Yet Just Keep A Eye On Her If U See Her Resting Loads And Hiding She Will Be Nearly Ready To Go In Breading Tank Make Shore U get One If U Ant mate that's if u want keep as meany.

I'm going to try to make a breeder thing for her, I'm poor. I just can't find any good tutorials online.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oK9AoIQIEow Hope That Will Give U A Idea on how to make one mate.

Thank you again. Man, taking care of frys are going to be hard. I'll be sad if they don't make it T-T
I'll try to build a breeder like that and set up a different tank.

its OK mate anytime shouldn't have any probes if u get the baby's out the tank as soon as poss just over guppies will eat um sometimes the mom will eat them but cont be helped u just have be in front of them lol.

Welcome to our forum Kuri33.
I am afraid that your pictures are not of a female that is close to a drop. Unfortunately far too many people allow themselves to be misled by the "gravid spot" color. Instead please pay attention to the shape of your fish. A female that is getting close to a fry drop will definitely square off, a term seldom well defined in forums or even text literature. I have created a thread here that uses one of my female mollies as an example of fry development stages. You can reach it by using the link in my signature about my molly's progress. What I tried to do with that thread was to show each fry development stage and illustrate it with a picture. If you still have any questions about your fry after reading through that thread, please post them here. We may be able to help you further refine the state of your female.

Thank you OldMan47 for the link. I am happy to say that she was actually very pregnant in these pictures and she has two very adorable babies..
..Unfortunately.. the mom didn't make it through having all of her babies and died during the processing of trying to have the rest of her babies..

I'me sorry you lost the mom of the baby's i did sey she was pregnant.

Yes you did. One of them are dark, probably from the dad because mom was light silver and yellow, the other look like its mom.

If you have surviving fry, the female is not completely lost. I cannot count how many times I have brought home a female to start a new line only to have her replaced by her fry. The fry are used to your water parameters and are ready to support you completely. Let's leave it there. That means that you have x number of fry that are fully adapted to your native waters and that are no less than eager to breed with other fish of the same species that they may encounter. To me that is a hopeful sign. I always want to have fish that are more than ready to breed in my water. It beats the heck out of having fish ready to use my water for their survival but unwilling to breed in that same water.

:) I'm very proud to have the babies. But i've heard that a lot of fry don't make it? like one out of 20 usually will survive? Is that true??

I find that a drop of 20 to 30 fry gives me almost that many surviving adults in a very short time. If you have an environment full of predators, that can give a very different result but a peaceful environment with adequate food and clean water almost always means that most fry will survive.
