hi there,
yes she is pregnant not very far as already said, i think she is a sword tail though as i have one the same colour ,sword tails are very like the platy in shape,very pretty fish you have .

Yeah, I'd say she's a Swordie too. Her body looks too elongated to be a Platy. Maybe a Variatus/Maculatus cross though...but I'd say Swordie. That's a typical Swordtail color.

I also echo the pregnant, but not too far along statement.

Well, there you go, you can never predicate pregnant fish! Some of them just don't get that big, like your's, and still drop fry.

Congratulations! Yeah, fish are hard to predict. Some just don't get that big. Maybe she only had five since she wasn't super fat?!

Yeah, she may have been youngish and only had a few, or she could have been one of those fish that only has a few at a time and never gets very fat.

mine must really like being pregnant mine get super fat and have 30-50 at a time i usually save like 25 of them and the rest well if they can survive in the big tank ill keep them and the 25 in the other tank go to the lfs
