Is My Tank Overstocked

After reading about the 1 inch of gallon space per fish to your tank I am a bit worried that my tank is overstocked, I have a 11 gallon (UK) tank L60cm, W30cm, D30cm... I have x8 platys, x2 Sunset Gouramis, x1 Sailfin Molly, x1 Flying Fox, all the fish get on well but am worried about it being overstocked now. Please advice as dunno if to take some fish back to the shop.

As long as your water changes are keeping on top of nitrates and your filter is processing ammonia and nitrite well I wouldn't say you're over stocked, I wouldn't be scared to have what you have in a 54 litre tank.

Try using the community creator on this website. You just tell it what you have in and how many and how many litres the tank is and what filtration you have. Hope it helps!

I've had the tank for a while and change 25% of the water twice a week and not had a fish death so all is good was just worried, thanks for the advice.

All sounds in order, I wouldn't add more fish though.

My biggest mistake was not getting a bigger tank, will have to wait till next xmas and see if santa will get me a 30gallon tank
