i have now changed my system over to live rock and reading info off forum. i have a 230ltr tank and now have a bio internal filter at 1000 l/h with two 900l/h power heads and one 1200 l/h power head fitted. i have put in 25 kg of live rock with big surface area on all pieces. i still have two clown fish in though because i was given bad advise from the shop i origionaly bought my equipment from. will this all now work out ok the tank is now two weeks old.

ammonia 0.25. nitrite 0.2. p.h 8.2. s.g 1.024. tank size is 1100x585x480 is that all you need. also i have positioned power heads so they are blowing at each other at top and at each other across bottom blowing across rock. the only thing is the fish seem to be blowing around a lot. they seem to enjoy this but is this right. i keep having algae growing on bottom of tank and on glass this comes back after two days after cleaning off is this right too.

The flow is fine (If it were me I would up it but this is a personal preference)

I am a bit concerned by your Ammonia & NitrIte Readings are you sure they are present in the tank as they are both Very Toxic to livestock, Have you had any die off etc. (It could possibly be a mini cycle from adding the Live Rock) that could cause an increase in these readings

:blink:nothing died off done test last night and those were readings

The algae question, is that brown algae? If yes, then it is a perfectly normal sign of cycling, and sometimes, mine would come back within 2 hours of removing it in the same spot but you might try some Biospira by Marinelabs to try to get the ammonia down.
