Is my loach pregnant??? I'm a noob, and need help!

Kuhli do not get 'pregnant' the females will get larger with eggs but there is not much you can do - on very rare occasions there have been reports of them breeding in tanks but it is almost always by accidents. Breeding farms use hormones to trigger breeding not something you want to use. As to tank size - i ahve a dozen in a 120 and another 8 in a 29 and 7 more in another 29. Is the tank large enough? Well bigger is always better as they can be very very active at night but for now that will ahve to do.
It's just the two loaches, in a 13 gallon tank.

Anwebie - that is what I meant. I know she is not "pregnant" like a human, cat or mouse is, nor will she give "birth" to them live like a guppy would. I simply meant, is she really filled with eggs?

Yes but female fishes always have eggs. I think what you really want to know is if your other kuhli is a male and if you can induce them to breed. I suspect the chances are very low to nil esp with just two. I have 10 kuhli living in a java fern farm (if you look at the right side of this picture - it is pretty dark but what you will see is approx 1foot by 1foot square of very dense java fern - what you can't see are the kuhli that hang out in that mess - but they never breed to my knowledge). It isnt' that i expect to breed though it would be nice but they certainly have a very dense protected area in which they could if they chose.

I bought a large Laceleaf Java fern, and a large Anubias. They're pretty plants. I hope to get more of them.
