Is my gourami ok ?

That's a fairy tale and the overuse of meds like these cause restitant strains of bacteria and parasites.

Esha 2000 is a Dutch med from the 60tees / 70tees and the overuse overhere caused it hardly to do anything.

But to be honest : It is used as anti fungus med, so in this case I'd use it if there isn't anything else on hand.

If treating your Gourami with any of those "fix all" type medications....please avoid the ones like Melafix and read the ingredients very carefully

Those "-fix" medications contain unrefined tee tree oil and that will destroy the Gourami's labrynth organ that it needs in order to surface breathe (same goes for all surface breathing fish like Betta etc)

Read the ingredients and research the ingredients carefully to ensure that what you are putting into an aquarium will not suffocate or harm the the fish.
