Is MPS a thing?

I've been clearing out one of my storage crates that I keep fish equipment in and found these.
Is multiple plant syndrome a thing?

and any cures ?

I have MPS too but mine are Hippeastrums, 20 varieties and there's sure to be more this spring.

I just joined the 21st century this weekend, as I bought 2 tissue culture containers with Cryptocorynes. I'd always assumed there'd be one plant per container, but I got 5 of one and 3 of the other - a great deal considering it was $10 cad a pot. I can see this pretty rapidly getting out of hand.

I've never wanted to collect inanimate objects, but things that do attract me. Things where I have to be active, solve problems and work at pull me in like a moth to a flame. Aquatic plants were difficult with incandescent and fluorescent lights, but the right LEDs make them far easier, Assuming these plants take, I can spread them out, and slowly add as I go along. MPS is just common sense!

So you're not alone, at least.

Unfortunately, tanks only got basic maintenance for a year, and most have died, so feels like a massive waste of money now. Some are still okay, like a couple of hardy crypts and a crinium or whatever that onion family bulb plant with the long twisted leaves is called!

Oh, and java ferns of course. Unkillable, they are.

But mainly growing that bushy, soft looking algae over the entire hardscape in one tank. That stuff is thriving. It's quite pretty, in a "wow, this tank is covered is so covered in impossible to remove, grassy algae that you can't even see the hardscape anymore, kind of way.

I have a jungle... but have slowly been sorting through plants... my goal is to have plants that don't "need" me, and that the fish are enough companionship for them... this requires me to be a bit picky, & I've rotated out several plants I just had to try... most of my plants are terrestrial, but Java Fern... @AdoraBelle Dearheart ... is right... those really are hard to kill... right now I've got a big bunch of Anubis Congensis going... and early thoughts, it seems a good fit for me... I tried doing some more "exotic" terrestrials, but most did not thrive in the water, without a fertilizer... an exception is the Hawaiian plant the Hoya... pictured here, growing out of a filter… super easy to make cuttings

I'm sorry, I'm too distracted by the adorable Zebra Otos!! Aaaawww. Otos are still my fav! My dream is to successfully breed a group of otocinclus. One day! The zebras are absolutely beautiful! And so cute, I can't help squeeing.

Plants look great! I took some cuttings from my two pothos yesterday and have them in a jar of water to grow some roots, but the plants aren't emersed with the tanks, just houseplants.

all my terrestrials, I put in hang on pots with ceramic bio media to hold them in place... the roots definitely grow out
