I've got 2 bala sharks 2 scavengers / clown loach / 2 other scavengers and a red tail shark, i had some neons before the red tail shark and they all died within 2 days? 2 i took out and one went missing?

anyway is this combination ok? they all seem to be gettin along fine, if the balas get to close to the red tail shark then the red tail shark kinda pushes them away, looks like hes gonna bite them but i dont think he does.

also when plecos dash to the top for water is that normal ?

thanks

not sure about the plecos (what kind are they) cos I have never seen mine do that but my corys do it regular. One of them almost knocked itself out once by dashing up too quick and it hit the glass cover.

We had 2 common pl*cs and they used to dash to the surface all the time, more than once I heard them hit the glass cover but they never showed any signs of stopping afterwards.

Mine also does that. I think it must be getting a gulp of air because when he swims back down, a few air bubbles come out his mouth.

r plecos more terretorial or red tail shark? red tail shark seems kinda scared of plecos?

The 2 pl*cs we had weren't so much territorial as just didn't seem to care what the other fish thought, the went where they wanted when they wanted no matter who tried to nip at them or drive them away they just ignored it all. The only time they took notice of the other fish was at feeding time and then they just muscled everybody out of the way and settled amongst the food to gorge
