The 3 dither species you mention are all quite slim lined and so would be a tempting snack for the rainbow cichlid,
if you didn't include the rainbow then you could easily have either 1 larger shoal or 2 smaller ones.
java fern, java moss, amazon swords, elodea, hygrophilia and cacomba are just a few of the easy to keep plants that you could go for,
its up to you in terms of bogwood, I would definitely go for at least 1 piece.
The stream is probs the best place to get rocks from, maybe send your bf out with some wellies and a bucket
