Hi,
In my divided 2.5 gallon tank I have 2 of my bettas - Lucky and Splash. I also have a filter in there which Ive slowed the current down by using the "pepsi bottle technique"
Spalsh is on the filter side. What im wondering if its normal for him to go and sit inbetween the pepsi thing and the filter and the filter and the wall?
He just goes and sits there everynow and than...
Thanks :)

He probably likes to rest there. Does it appear that he is bothered by the current when he is there? Like maybe he can't get out? If not, I wouldn't worry too much. I used to find my girlies behind my "current killer" all the time.

When hes behind the current he just chills there. He dosent seem bothered at all. He was so still I thought he was dead and I freaked out.... Than he moved so I knew he was fine.
Thanks fishenthusist :)

I know what you mean about the looking dead part. I find my boys laying almost sideways on the sand sometimes. They scare the daylights out of me. Then I look at them and they start wiggling, thinking they are going to be fed. Gotta love bettas, they really keep you on your toes.

I know it can be so stressfull sometimes! But its all worth it when you see there cute little faces looking at you

I hate when my bettas do that! but its only when im looking at them from a far. but when i approach themthey go ballistic. i wuv them

Awww, im glad to hear my guy is not the only one!
Since were on this topic, do you guys find that your betta thats on the side of the filter that his fins are ok?
