Ive drooled over tanks carressing their shiny surfaces! Spread eagled hands peering in! Most of the time is interacting with the fishes and collaring nearby LFS people for chats (or arguments occasionally). Most drool is playing peek a boo with the porcupine puffs..ok settles down a little now lol!

I Am lucky that there are some lovely BIG LFS within Driving distance and some that are further out, but still worth the drive. I can Spend Hours in the LFS' Looking at the fish, The all know me now and just let me browse untill i am ready to buy. I spent nearly 2 hours at breeders just staring at all the tanks and chatting about them all and the breeding habits.

I have no idea what you are talking about Shelaghfishface. When I go to a fish auction by one of the nearby clubs I am not obsessed. I do carry ample funds because you never know what good deals you might miss out on if you forgot to bring your wallet. What would be the point of going to a club auction if you came home empty handed? What would I say when arriving home when asked what fish I brought with me? I am obligated to buy some fish if only to justify spending the day away from home. When I get home, the more usual decision I have to make is whether to get some sleep before the next day at work or if my time is better spent getting my new fish settled in. I am not at all obsessed, I am just a bargain hunter with a keen eye for deals on fish.++

If you guys don't believe me, who will?

Theres a great LFS near here called Aquator that gets some pretty crazy stuff in sometimes. They've got a good selection of huge marine fish, as well as fully grown senegal bichir, leopard bush fish, (spotted climbing perch?) and somehow the biggest cardinal tetra I've ever seen! (Which they refuse to sell me.) =(

Always makes me want to go out and buy the biggest tank I've ever seen and live in it with nothing but fish accessories and a snorkel! Maybe one day...
