There are these weird eg looking things in my 55g tank, im not sure what they are. I just noticed it today. They are clear, circles. We only have snails, feeder goldfish (removed because they were eating the eggs), a freshwater lionfish (about 6in), and a african knife fish (about 6in). Im thinking its the knife fish or lionfish. The tanks brackish with sand, driftwood, stack a logs thing, and a cave rock. The "eggs" are under and on the stack a rock thing. The lionfish is laying on sevral, and under him our knife fish is guarding some of the eggs. The lionfish hasnt been eating for like a week :( , and our knife fish usually hides but has lattely been venturing out and going to the top to get air.

Here are some pics (not sure if it will show its my first time :*) )

Also there are no other mates only 1 knife fish and 1 lionfish, it could be the gold fish but they were eating it, the other fish were gaurding it, and its were the knife and lionfish usually are :(

So what are these "eggs" and whose do u think they are???

This is my first post by the way i apologize if i did something wrong, thanks in advance :)

oh sorry by the way those arent pitures of my fish (didnt know how to get them off of my computer) i got them off the internet, but they look exctly like mine.

Some of your post makes no sense.

Why do you have a african knife fish in a brackish tank and what is the SG of the water, and the snails you linked the picture to are Malaysian livebearing snails so it wouldnt be them laying eggs?

Also did you have permission to use those pictures from the sites they belong to? Some sites can get a bit touchy about stealing their bandwidth and pictures.

There are many different types of snails. he was just saying they look like them, but I do agree, some of these are pointless topics
