Is He A Spotted Sailfin Plec (gibbiceps), Or Is He Something Else?

He is not being very helpfull! Lol.

This is not very clear as he was on the side glass when i took it, and i took it from the top looking down so his body looks squashed! I will try and get a better one tomorrow.

Ok, lets try this picture. He is in the corner of the tank this time, so his head looks squashed!

My camera was out of focus as well..... im not having much luck here.

Thankyou. What sort of size tank? 6ft?

My tank is currently just over 4ft long..... he is 7 inches at the moment,

he should be ok in 4ft tank aslong as the depth is enough for him to turn around, it will have to be 16 or 18 inches front to back, i have had mine many years and its about 12", they are very friendly plecs no too skittish or too shy

I saw some pleco's at my lfs that really looked like they had leopard skin. Totaol leopard pattern!! What sort of pleco would that be? Is there somewhere where I can look at their pictures? The ones I saw were small, less than 2 inches. But I think they were very young ones
