I have 3 small Iridescent Sharks that sleep or play dead all the time. They are in a 55g tank with 15 neons and 10 prestellas and about 10 guppies. once in a while I see them swimming about, usually at night ( they go nuts when I turn on the tank lights ). What is the problem? also what do I feed them? I've been feedind them Tetramin flakes fo a couple of months, tested water all levels okay, PH = 7.0 amonia, Nitrate, and Nitrite = 0

Irridescent sharks? isnt that a species of pangasius catfish? oh dear.......

First off these guys should be moving all the time, constantly swimming, check your water parameters and for bullying.

Secondly i suggest you read the pinned topic on pangasius cats in this forum, and if im wrong i apologise in advance, common names are soooo tricky they change all the time :p

Yes, they are Pangasius catfish, are very active, get close to 4 feet, and should be kept in schools. What do you feed them? Water hardness? Either way, it sounds as though they are not doing too well. :(

Yepppp. They do grow up to 4 feet.
