I fairly recently introduced a Siamese Fighting Fish/Betta into my tank. In the first few days in was slightly aggressive but since then it has been relatively placid and doesn’t interact with other fish.
However, I have noticed that the 7 Harlequin fish in the tank have become more aggressive and territorial - albeit mostly amongst themselves.
Could this be in a response to the introduction of the Betta, or more likely just a coincidence?
