Hey everyone im new here! Started off with a 5gal tank with a mated pair of apisto's and love them so much that I upgraded to a 29gal tank. Currently I have the 2 mated pair of apisto a pair of platys 2 Cory's 3 vp loaches 2 albino Chinese algae and my now unmated lone female apisto(her male just died 2 days ago) (will she rebond with another male?) Anyway plan on growing my babes and seeing where it goes! ByE

hey! you should get more cories... i know they are expensive but you should have at least 3 of each species, just get another one, and 3 more of the cheap species that cannot breed with your current one

what is a vp?
i see a pleco in the 6th picture, and the plecos grow very big, so i'd say keep a 125g ready to use when you have to move it in.
Hi there thank you for the advice I was definitely thinking of getting another cory and what would you recommend for 3 more cheap filler fish? The shop that I got the fish from called them vp loaches *shrug* they looked awesome ?. Oh no I got 2 of the plecos *facepalm*

I'd rehome the CAE's ASAP, those things get MUCH too large for a 29G, and are not ideal community tankmates, anyway....see "Behavior and Compatibility" in the link below

I think Chinese Algae eaters are loaches. Not sure though.
