Intro post - learning aquaponics!

Hi, I'm Kerry and I'm working with an Aquaponic set up to grow herbs indoors and have a little community of guppies, a tetra and some snails who hitchhiked in on a plant! We had 3 tetras, but one vanished the day after we got him and one died about a month ago. The remaining tetra thinks he's a guppy and swims around with them happily.

That is too cool What kind of herbs? Last time I tried an herb garden it died (as they all seem to do for me when it comes to plants). Of course, my cat trying to eat the herbs didn't help. I love the look of your setup and am quite interested to see how it goes.

Thyme (bought an established pot), basil from seed, rosemary from cuttings and coriander. It's been more miss than hit so far I've had a lot of plant fails.

The fish are our only pets, so no risk of nibbling haha.

its kinda elongated

i am growing 2 yellow peas from my tank
they are attatched to the water lettuce and starting to grow tendrils

I could definitely see the herbs, too cool! I did watch a YT video where the young lady grew old garlic bulb, rooted, and then pulled them and used them for food! That's my next easy (hopefully) project.
