Hi there y’all .
So I’m originally from Long Island. My boyfriend and I had glo fish for 3 years and now we have a Dalmatian molly, an orange and black platy fish and not sure what the third one is (I think it’s a molly),
anyways , definitely need some tips my Dalmatian fish is darting at the platy and not sure if it’s biting or giving kisses towards my finger.
hope to hear from y’all soon with some tips

So mollies can get aggressive if there is not enough room, poor water parameters or to many males fighting over a female. I also doubt they are giving you a kiss but mistaking you for food.

But your tank looks pretty good and often mollies are only aggressive to other males. Btw you have 2 males and 1 female. (the spotty black and white one is the female)

Your unidentified fish looks like a platy. Please put some live plants into your tank to break up the open water area of your tank. Some bunches of stemmed plants, just what every you can find.

I think they are all mollies. You are a lot smarter than me but all of them look like mollies I have seen.

Your unindentified fish is a yellow-green wagtail hi-fin platy.
And welcome to the forum, btw... :)

Well, mollies look different... :)
Because of that orange band through it's tail suggests it is a orange tail marble molly.View attachment 143640
This picture shows a red wagtail platy and not a molly. The coloration in its tail that you're suggesting doesn't say anything about the species itself.
And a marble molly looks really different.
I have no idea, you will be right. We will call them Mollies.
There's only one molly in there. And that's the dalmation molly. Those two others are wagtail platies.

Mollies and platies can't hybridise as they are in different genus. Mollies can hybridise with other Poecilia and platies with other Xiphophorus. But that won't stop a male of one genus trying to mate with a female of another.
