When interpet designed their products, I feel they designed the powering of them in the same way another company would design a radios power input.

My meaning being, the unit has to go in water (that's a given right?) BUT the electrical lead and plug are so short that wherever you plug the #41#### thing in, your at risk of splashing the power supply!

Just seems negligent not to supply longer cables!
Rant over lol

i'll second that! i have the interpret fishpod 64, came with all the bits and bobs, and i have a stand for it too, but when i set up and hooked up all the electricals i realized how short the wires were, which wasn't really great so now i have a little extension lead inside the cabinet so i have some kind of drip loop there and its a bit less at risk of being splashed lol!
