LOL if you are gonna post on here, expect peoples opinions. Or else why post ? Did you just want a lot of people to agree with you and nod their heads ?
If you go back to the original post,( see above if you have forgotten) she wanted to know the thoughts on not quarantining the fish,and if her actions were enough to prevent anything bad, not at the communication between her and her spouse. You insulted her when that wasn't even the problem. She wanted our opinions on whether her tank will be okay. Leave it at that. Poor girl just wanted to sleep well without worrying about possible disease in her tank.

Erm, for starters, what part of the following original post was not just abuse hurled at her husband ? ......

He was obviously listening on some level but neglected to listen to the quarantine part! When I got in he had added them to the tank and was delighted with himself!!! Apparently he had just emptied the whole bag from the lfs (including the water) in. If you are going to make a claim please at least be accurate. People will respond to ALL aspects of a post, or those that they feel inclined to respond to. [color="#222222"]Did you notice the "LOL" part of that sentence ? Do you understand its intention when included in written communication ? It is a jollity, it is a laugh. It means something is said (partially or fully) in JEST. If you address the remainder of my reply I also went on to infer that the OP should not worry so much about quarantining fish as most of us do not have that luxury. Again, that comment was said with a SMILEY FACE at the end of it.
So lets not try and make me out to be some ogre. I said what I said and I stand by it. If you choose to miiscontextualise it that is your problem.
Anyway, she has explained she didnt mean it to come across that way and I have said cool to her on that. IF there is any disagreement to be had it would be between the OP and me, but as far as I am concerned we are cool about it. He's happy, she's happy, and I am sure her new fish will be too

You seem to be the only one that felt the need to voice on ALL aspects of the original post, not just the one question stated. I think that everyone has at one point in time VENTED on something that was done, that they felt was wrong. I vented when my husband put a Red Zebra in my Jewel tank. My Jewel was almost killed. Does my venting mean that I think my husband is a putz? No. Am I being AR? No. I did not lead anyone to believe anything as the original post could clearly be read by anyone here. I pointed out the ONE question. No one is making you out to be an ogre, just pointing out what was seen. No need to be rude or get so defensive

Thank heavens for small mercies. Lets leave it at that shall we ?You are, IMHO, either deliberately or accidentally misinterpreting what I am saying and it is clear that we will not see eye to eye on this one.

Guys, thanks for all of your positive comments. I didn't state in my original post that I communicated my disappointment to my husband Mishmash, though I accept that it may have come across that way.

Alls well that ends well Nice to be able to resolve our differences. Hey, if you encourage your hubby enough he will let you get that extra tank you always wanted...
Glad the fish are OK , that is the most important thing. The water in some LFS's can be pretty appalling. But I generally find there are no probs. As someone stated, unless you quarantine a fish for 90 days then you cannot eradicate all possible problems. I definitely advise netting the fish out rather than using the water they came with though. Also, I always insist the LFS puts stresscoat in the transport bag. It can minimise the chances of stress and consequent disease outbreak. Get him to buy you some Sterbai or Adolfoi next time. They are my faves....
