I have a 10 gallon that has a female Redtail Dalmatian in it that is quite deformed. The local Petsmart gave it to me because they were on close out and it was really sick. So I brought it home and nursed it back to health but it has birth defects and is well just deformed but I still love the fish. Well anyways, I just purchased 2 female Gold Twin Barred Platys. The deformed dalmatian lays at the bottom a lot in little hiding places. Well the one Gold Twin Barred keeps going down and not hitting but like rubbing up along side of it. It almost looks like its encouraging it to swim??? The tank is nicely cycled and there aren't any sickness signs but I was wondering what the Gold Twin Barred is doing by like rubbing up along side of the Deformed Dalmatian???

Thanks
