Interesting Trip To The Lfs Today!

I went to my LFS today to get 6 zebra danios, 2 platys and some more java ferns.
The lady working there was very nice, and she was getting a little frustrated trying to catch a female zebra danio, so she let ME take over!
Now, of course, I was in my glory, being able to stand on the stool and catch whatever fish I wanted!
Then, some guy came in, and found at that I was getting a 55 gallon for my basement, and then offered to sell his 125 gallon tank that came with EVERYTHING for 600 or 700$.... can't remember which one it was.... (Canadian $)
That's a very good price, because the 55 gallon I was getting was almost the same price!
I got his #, and I am planning to call him and snatch that tank before anyone else does!
Also had a great conversation with the staff and customers there, a bit out of the norm to be talking to someone about stuff that interests ME!
(Cause no one else wants to listen to me talk about my fish....)
Except for you guys of course!

All in all, great day. Best time I ever had at the LFS.

EVERY time I get fish at a LFS, I want to take over with the net myself. I'm like "THAT one....no, no....THAT one!" - UGH!

I actually had an amazing experience at the LFS yesterday as well. I wanted a couple hatchets from the top tank (I could barely see them), so the guy went to net them out and then told me he couldn't sell them to me because they had ich. I was STUNNED that not only did the guy know what ich looked like, but that he wasn't going to try and make a sale anyhow. I was amazed. Sad I couldn't get my hatchets, but happy he saved me a lot of trouble.

Yeah, I really want that tank, but I have to convince my Dad first! (He could care less about fish keeping, and thinks 3 tanks is already WAY too much!)

BTW Sean W, that tank you're getting for 167$, I got the same kit as you, except in 10 gallon form.
Yeah, also, the girl there told me that they had some nice mollies, and she went to the tank to show me, then she realized that they were sick, and then showed me some in a different tank!
