Interesting news topic

I suppose it's no different then folks driving out to the country to dump their dog or a litter of kittens they no longer want. Makes me angry...

ALASKA

Just be glad it didn't get ahold of any of the children :X

That could have been scary.... :(

hrm not meant to be pet? I am training my betta to let me bet his back :) just really a little pet on the back, but we are working on it so now he doesn't spook :) but letting grimey kids pet them? seems that could be bad for fish day after day....I think it was irresponsible of the people to get rid of the pirrana, but at least they didn't just kill it or flush it :) *tries ot look at the bright side*

Great story but as far as petting your fish My huge oscar loves it he comes to me when I open the tank lid to be petted

ohh I also make sure they have plenty of stress coat so slime coating has never been a problem in my tank

I know that human hands contain oils and germs, etc but why are we assuming that all kids are grimy or dirty? I don't see the difference in an adult petting a fish then a child doing it.
