Interestin fish...

The stores around here don't know, or have a label other then upside-down catfish. When I looked up S. nigriventris all the pictures showed a multi color one. The ones I've seen are completely black with a lot of wiskers. Do you know what kind these are?

The most commonly imported Syno I can think of that is pretty much all dark is S. schall, however there are others. Do any of the "whiskers" look flattened, i.e. with like a trailing edge flap or membrane? If so, could be S. membranaceus which can also be wholly dark - but the membranes are a real giveaway.
