Hi guys..

This evening I noticed something I’ve never seen in my brief (2 year) history in saltwater aquarium keeping. Tonight I decided I’d investigate my aquarium during the lights off period the first thing I noticed was speedy movement on top of the water. I moved in for a closer inspection and I was very surprised! little insects skimming around on top of the water in my aquarium. Speedy fellows they resemble pond skaters only much smaller maybe 2-3milimeters in size… anybody else ever get them?

I’m also shocked that nobody used them for lunch yet!

Wow, never heard of that... I've had a few common beetles crawl into my tank for a drink and then die realizing it's saltwater, not freshwater. But never anything like pond skaters or water spiders

i've seen pods swimming around on the surface, presumably trapped there by surface tension, but nothing beetle like

i think he's trying to identify them, not get rid of them...

speaking of which, where's the pics?
