I just don't get why people keep making these absolutely ridiculous tanks.

The second one... I wonder if it ever occurred to anyone that fish would cook in there in the summer time during the day, and the temp. swings would kill them. Then, when it rains, the ph swings would kill them. Not to mention what all the neighborhood cats would do with this.

Exploitation at its finest.

i figured it out why there r tanks like this
because there are too many stupid people and no body to eat them :p ;)
(i heard it on comedy central thought it fit in lol)

The first one is just plain weird looking.

The second one...well, I wouldn't want one on my deck, but in the bedroom...sure. IF I was sure that whatever it is made of is safe for the fish and that it isn;t going to spontaneously disintegrate after 2 months.

I like the pop-up pond, I was thinking of getting one, but its not see-through and its 28 gallons.

I've read bad things about pop up aquariums. Mostly that one day you will walk in and see it collapsed into itself

Ah well, I'm going to email the company who has the fish on fish tank just to ask how big it is. Then, I'll jump on 'em :) Won't this be fun ;)

EDIT- On looking, I can't find anywhere to contact them. Theres the contact us form, but thats for US and for companies.

Yah, I've read stuff like that too. Apparently the ground has to be PERFECTLY level or else they can collaspe, and I dont' think any part of my yard is that level, so I don't think I'm going to get one. If I do get a small pond I'll just get those preformed black ones.

well the pond thing really isnt bad to keep them outside betta mama. Alot of people keep their live bearers outside in the summer, and not to mention fish that live in ponds. Im not sure if I got what you ment though.

I need to win the lottery and get myself an inside pond area and put a betta in it  or a community of girls in the pond hah.

Here's their customer service phone number.

You could start there.

wrs - you're right, but this is a 15 gallon "pond" if you can call it a pond.
This would be about the same as having a 15 gallon tank sitting out on your patio, cooking away in the summer sun.. Most people have no clue that goldfish don't like to be in water that is heated up by the sun all day, and since they show a picture of goldfish in the tank, you know what people are going to do.
