One of my guppies seems to have been attacked overnight as half of its tails is missing and something has been eating away at her other fins. There’s not been any new additions to my tank in 3/4 months and has never been any signs of aggression from any of the fish until now. Poor wee thing seems to be struggling to float/swim and her bottom half seems to dip down now. I don’t have another tank or anything to put her in so wondering if anyone has any suggestions or ideas that might help.

Maybe a hierarchy thing that happened where guppies can become a bit aggressive. Nipping of guppies is not something weird. It can happen, unfortunately...

Do a water change to give your fish clean water to swim in. @Colin_T has a paragraph for adding salt to your tank. Wait for him to reply then your guppy should heal up within a couple weeks. Hope this helps!
