No offense -- ok some offense, but you sound like a whiney person looking for a handout. Prior to your aquarium breaking, were you aware that shards of broken glass are in fact sharp? Did you happily go stomping around in piles of broken glass that were dull, only to be shocked when this dagger cut a hole in your foot?

Pretty much anything that is jagged and has any tensile strength will have the ability to cut you of you step on it. If your aquarium chipped because you were cleaning the lid and you broke it and then you hurt yourself because of that, you have no one to blame but yourself. If you weren't aware of the fact that broken glass is sharp, then quite frankly I'm surprised you haven't already won a Darwin Award.

I dont see what the "claim" is here. You accidently broke your tank...... you want to claim becuase they didnt put a "BROKEN GLASS CAN BE SHARP" warning on it?

That looks, painful...

I ended up with a 2 inch cut in my foot one time, I was running bare footed and caught my foot on a piece of broken glass leant against a wall...
