I was looking up LED lighting systems when I came across this.

"GLOFISH THE NEW GLOWING PET" and "GLOFISH, THE FIRST GM ANIMAL COMMERCIALIZED: PROFITS AMID CONTROVERSY"

The future is here. Genetically modified Zebra Dianos which emit a glow in their skin under uv lights. Aparently they were made by injecting certain genes from jellyfish and sea corals to get this glowing tinge comming through their skin.

Yeah we've seen these before. I cant make my mind up whether they look good. They look weird i reckon-maybe its because they dont look natural.

once upon a time i would have been tempted to fill a tank with these, but not now i know how its acheieved (sp) :(

Kinda old news  They were out for a while now. Ive noticed that dyed fish are starting to die down though, but these things still arent popping up around my area. Guess they are banned around my area or nobody can afford them.

Yeah Those guys are old news. They made glowing cats now..... cat+ UV light= a fluffy cuddly night light. I see glow fish all over the place, I don't hate them. I find them interesting, mainly because of the process they undergo. I don't care for the colors neon colors though, and zebra dainos in general. They can breed though and the young will be the same color as the adults. Unless you cross two colors, then they turn out too be brown.
