i am looking for a bit more info on the tyre track eel, got a bit of info on them yesterday but just thought i might find out soem more from the real fish people, lol

Grows to around 3 feet long, will eat smaller fish and requires a 6x2x2' tank when adult. Likes to dig so needs a soft substrate of sand or very fine gravel and can be very fussy of food preffering live shrimp and earthworms over frozen alternatives.

Thats the monster!!!! I keep mine on a diet of blood worm, lance fish shrimp and occasionally it snaffles my cichlid fry!

Can respond quite well to hand feeding after a while, youngsters favour bloodworm especially
