Got one of these yesteday
I had him in the bag acclimatising him to the tank, adding a bit of water from the tank to the back every 10 minutes, but then suddenly he leaped out of the bag straight into the tank !!
After about 20 minutes he decided to try and leap out of the tank about 7 or 8 times in succession
Is this normal behaviour, or some stress due to new surroundings etc
Water was normal PH7, no nitrates, nitrites or ammonia, and no other fish (quarantine tank)
He hasnt done it since and seems to have settled down, however one thing I have noticed when he lies on the bottom of the tank, is that his tail curls to one side, but then he will go off swimming again for a while, then have another rest
Is there any info on them I can find
