My boyfriend and I have a huge goldfish that was given to him by his parents. It is about 5 inches long. We call it the beast. Anyway, we decided to buy a kiddie pond for the goldfish b/c he wasn't looking to comfortable in a 10 gallon tank. there are 4 other goldfish with him now, and three koi. The big goldfish (respectfully named Goldie,) seems to be doing just fine. Everybody seems amazed that we have a little "pond" in our living room. I love watching them when I'm watching T.V. :hyper:

Those fish aren't going to stay in that pool for very long. Common goldfish can get over a foot and koi have been known to reach over three feet. I'll bet it looks neat with a pond in your living room, but in a few months they'd be a lot happier in an outdoor pond with a suitable depth. Check out our Coldwater fish forum for more info, it's under "Other Pets" :good:
