Hi all,
is it ok to have loads of tiny micro bubbles in a marine tank. I'm not talking about the bubbles you get from a cheap, tacky airstone but tiny, tiny bubbles from water hitting the surface from above which creates loads of these bubbles which float back up to the surface. Similar to a powerhead that's sucking air in from being to close to the surface.

As far as I can tell, the fish don't seem bothered by it, it looks Cool IMO and it's helping aerating the water thus increasing oxygen. But can it cause any probs or am I worrying over nothing!

Oh the reason why it's doing this is because I've moved my powerhead which I used for surface agitation so I've raised my spraybar (pump return) about an inch above the water surface which creates these bubbles.
I've posted a pic of it in my journel an I can easily get a vid of it close up to give you all an idea if you like.

Cheers

Cheers seffie! I don't know what to make of it tbh.

I've seen loads of tanks in lfs have them!

Only things effected by micro bubbles are sponges and sea horses from what I've read. Other than that your golden.
