After much debate within myself, I took 4 blue gouramis back to the LFS and have gone to a more peaceful tank. This made room for me to go ahead and get 6 little peppered cories that are between 1 and 1 1/2 inches long. They are sooooooooo cute!!!!!!!

I certainly am proud of you! As much as I like my gouramis, I have to admit I love my corys more.

I think you will get a lot of enjoyment out of your new corys. Instead of watching them chase each other around you will be able to see them playing happily together. IMHO, that's a lot more fun.

With 6 of them, you probably have both males and females, so you can look forward to breeding them if you would like to.

I really liked my gouramis as well. Their colors had really come out in my tank and they were a pretty, deeper looking blue than the "washed out" color they have at the LFS. But, they were starting to fight too much and eventhough I have 55 gallon tank there just wasn't enough room. On top of that, I had just gotten some pristellas and the gouramis decided they like chasing them as much as they liked chasing each other. [I had thought that blue gouramis would not mess with other fish ] Anyway, I will be alot less stresssed now that they are not in my tank. I want to be successful keeping fish and part of that includes me not stressing out as well as the fish not stressing out.
